Nice write up brad. Have you had any time with the Nikon Ml-3 remote with IR beam trip as well. I was tossing that idea around as its about half of the time machines cost

Have you tried the mini with the ac3 zone controller? I've had good results when you throw that on and set the flash values manually. With that you can ittl or full manual all from the dials up top

timing and temp seems to be everything out thar at RCF. it was pretty nice early in the AM when everything was still frozen. as the day went by, it got just warm enough to start melting that layer of frozen trail. by 1ish, most of the heavy use trail were muck. word -- no biggie but it's a pain in the ars to clean up afterwards
